Testimonials
Mike and Judy put together a
package for us including getting the drawings and plans prepared and getting all
of the materials put together. The drawings and plans were spot on and the City
of Newcastle had very little to comment on before approving them. The materials
package was estimated just right. The materials were top notch. Our builder was
very impressed by how well the materials package was thought through and put
together - so were we. Every step of the way, we were given advice that we later
found to be on the mark. Cedar Homes of Washington's involvement in our project
technically could have ended as soon as the materials package was delivered.
Nevertheless, Mike and Judy continued to check in on us all the way through the
end of the project. We enjoyed working with Mike and Judy and
wholeheartedly recommend them to others.

It is our hope that this letter
will ease your mind that you have found the best place possible to start the exciting journey of building your cedar home.
While driving in North Bend, WA
in the summer of 2004, we passed a charming small log home. The owner of this
home noticed our interest and invited us to see her home. She was quite proud of
it and was used to the attention it received from passersby. She gave us the
name and number for Mike and Judy Flanagan (Cedar Homes of
Washington).
After meeting with Mike and
Judy at their beautiful home, our expectations that they were indeed honest,
decent people to work with- were met. We are now nearing completion of our
home, and in reality, Mike and Judy's job with us is done. They could move on
with other projects. Yet, they still check in with us and will continue to do so
until we are complete.
In the course of building our
home, we found two big advantages in choosing Cedar Homes of Washington. First,
when filing the permit, Mike was there. Mike stayed with us the whole day,
answering questions from the building department, enabling us to get our plans
submitted in one day. The process would've taken days (and many trips) to and
from to finalize this step of the process (if we did this one our own). The
second advantage was, if you were to buy a package directly from Pan Abode, or
perhaps another dealer, your home package would be literally dropped at your
site for you to handle. Mike and Judy were right there at the drop-off,
overseeing the placement of all materials, taking inventory of all materials and
making sure any discrepancies were rectified.

Years after Cedar Homes of
Washington received my last payment, they continue to provide me with invaluable
design and finishing advice. They have always been eager to help and really took
an interest in me and my project. They have done a fantastic job and continue to
give excellent customer service and support.

We just wanted to thank you so much for
being so wonderful in helping us build our home. We know the home package could
have been a stressful part, but it wasn't at all - thanks to you.
-- Rob & Mary Stumph
This has been like a dream come true. The
quality of materials is incomparable and everything fit together just like they
promised. It was especially refreshing to work with people who are looking after
your best interest in every corner. They understood how very important our new
home was to us and I'm sure they treat all their customers with this level of
respect and kindness. If you choose Cedar Homes of Washington, you won't
be disappointed. We are truly satisfied customers!

We have had the pleasure of knowing Mike and
Judy Flanagan since 2001. We met at an Open House for their business, Cedar
Homes of Washington. We were looking at cabin packages to build a retreat in the
mountains for our family. Their openness, friendliness and willingness to help
is genuine. We never felt any pressure to give a commitment. The fact that the
home they live in is a product they built themselves from a kit is a positive
statement that they know the design and build process - have been through it -
and know first hand about long term maintenance, etc. for these type of
structures.
The summer of 2004, we had a contractor
build the shell of our cabin and it was an extremely positive experience. There
have been minor issues that have come up during the building process, such as
shortages for hardware. Mike and Judy have always promptly returned phone calls
and remedied the situation in short order. We cannot think of a way that they
could improve the way they conduct their business or improve their customer
service.

Mike and Judy Flanagan were
the key to unlocking our dream of designing and building a home
of a lifetime. Without their patience, enthusiasm, and commitment
to providing information, insight and guidance through the entire
custom home process, from conceptualization through construction,
we would still be just dreaming. As trying an experience as being
an owner/builder is, we have many wonderful memories and would in
fact love to do it all again. We're sure that result has as much
to do with our relationship with Mike and Judy as it does with
anything else.

In 1986 we were searching
for a way to build our dream home on the Olympic Penninsula. Our
search included many local companies selling log home kits as
well as companies across the U.S. There are many aspects of their homes that put them in lead contention among their
competitors. However, what convinced us to buy our cedar home
was the contact we made with Judy and Mike Flanagan. Their
friendly, honest approach was just what we needed. To us it was
daunting to mesh our dreams with the reality of materials and
construction, but Mike and Judy got us through it.

two additions to their original rambler style home.
In the summer of 1989 my
wife Marilyn and I acquired beach property on Hartstene Island in
Mason County. We decided to build a cedar type home and talked
with several different manufacturers. After making many
comparisons, we decided on Cedar Homes of Washington and have not
been sorry about our decision. During construction, Mike and Judy
were available to answer questions and they handled even the
smallest problems in a timely fashion. There were no surprises
from start to finish. Our home went together as expected and the
quality of the materials was excellent.

I am writing this letter to let you know how
wonderful it has been to work with Judy and Mike Flanagan on my cedar
home. Mike and Judy were so nice and very generous with their time. After
a complete tour (of their home) they explained the kiln drying process and
unique way in which their homes are constructed. They lent me blueprints to
study. They also gave me the names and numbers of other people to visit. I
went to at least 8 of their customer's homes during the next few months.
Mike and Judy's design experience was invaluable. They were very patient as I
made revisions and I appreciated their many creative yet practical
suggestions. They came out to my site on many occasions and helped me
wrestle with the building and health departments. I couldn't have gotten my
permits without them! Mike and Judy always go the extra mile!
